- visit our museum and its textile workshop;
- take a walk between the villages or a bike ride in the phosphorite quarries.
Rootsi-Kallavere village is one of the most contrasting places in Estonia, where President Lennart Meri liked to bring his foreign guests. Namely, the archaic village complex is located right next to the panel houses of the city of Maardu. Here is an opportunity to capture a panel house and an old farmhouse in the same picture.
Come visit!Under the leadership of the MTÜ Rootsi-Kallavere Küla Selts, a museum has been established in the village. Today, the museum's exhibits can be admired in as many as three buildings: the main building, the fabric house and the boathouse, and the warehouse. We are open all year round, but by prior arrangement.
