With the support of EAS, the weaving house is a unit for weaving with looms in the barn of Mihkl farm during the winter season and as an extension of the museum in the summer season. In winter, three axles were in working order. In the first winter, the basic courses of weaving rag rugs were held (instructors were experienced weavers Virve Teder and Aita Karjatse), during which more than 70 rag rugs were woven, with a total length of almost 100 meters. There were weavers from Tallinn, Viimsi and closer. The exhibition of the first carpets was opened on the museum’s 5th birthday.
